Bravo Teas caffeine-free herbal teas are delicious on their own, but if you’re looking for a way to spice up your morning cup of tea, here are six of our favorite recipes! These are easy-to-make recipes that require few ingredients. Featuring Bravo Tea herbal teas like Lion’s Mane, Chaga, and Turkey Tail. These recipes are all-natural and if you are vegan, vegetarian, keto, you can substitute any ingredient to fit your dietary needs.

Hot Chocolate with Lion’s Mane Tea

Lion’s Mane has been shown to enhance mood and support brain health. For a great start to your day, make this hot chocolate with Bravo Tea Lion’s Mane mushroom tea. Steamed milk is optional but adds a delightful foamy texture to the top of this nourishing brew. For a vegan or dairy-free version, we find that oat milk steams the best!

Ingredients:

8-10 oz hot water

1 Bravo Tea Lion’s Mane tea bag

2 heaping teaspoons cocoa powder

Splash of maple syrup, or sweetener of choice

Steamed milk to top (optional)

Instructions:

Brew 1 bag of Bravo Tea Lion’s Mane mushroom tea in 8-10 ounces of hot water for 3-4 minutes. Add cocoa powder and sweetener and mix until the cocoa powder has dissolved. A handheld frother is useful for this step if you have one. Lastly, add steamed milk to the top.

6 Mushroom Defense & Honey Tea

Ingredients:

8 oz hot water

1 Bravo Tea 6 Mushroom Defense™ tea bag

1 tsp honey, or natural sweetener of your choice

Instructions:

Brew 1 bag of Bravo Tea 6 Mushroom Defense™ in 8 ounces of hot water for 3-4 minutes. Add honey or a natural sweetener of your choice. Enjoy it hot, or for iced tea you can let the tea cool and pour it over ice. Enjoy!

Schisandra Berry Lemon Fizz Mocktail

Schisandra berry has been used in traditional Eastern medicine as a tonic to improve vitality; this fizzy mock tail adds a bold burst to its benefits! The complex “five flavors” of the Schisandra berry is perfectly complemented by the bubbly seltzer. For best results, allow the tea to cool before pouring over ice so it doesn’t get too diluted.

Ingredients:

8 oz hot water

2 Bravo Tea Schisandra Berry tea bags

Sweetener, to taste (optional)

Ice

Juice of ½ of a lemon, about 2-3 tsp

Lemon seltzer

Instructions:

Brew 2 bags of Bravo Tea Schisandra Berry herbal tea in 8 ounces of hot water for 3-4 minutes. While it’s hot, add sweetener of your choice. Pour freshly squeezed lemon juice and the cooled tea over ice. Add lemon seltzer and stir. Optionally, add a slice of lemon or some fresh mint leaves for garnish!

Vanilla Latte with Chaga Mushroom

Chaga and vanilla are an unexpected yet delectable flavor combination in this latte recipe! Drinking chaga mushroom lattes in the morning are a great coffee alternative that is actually caffeine-free. Chaga is also shown to help maintain blood pressure and blood sugar levels. For the sweetener in this recipe, we love natural sweeteners like maple syrup or agave syrup.

Ingredients:

8 oz hot water

1 Bravo Tea Chaga tea bag

Splash of maple syrup, or sweetener of choice

Splash of vanilla extract

2-3 oz steamed milk of choice

Cinnamon for garnish

Instructions:

Brew 1 bag of Bravo Tea Chaga mushroom tea in 8 ounces of hot water for 3-4 minutes. Stir in a sweetener of your choice to the tea while it’s hot. Add a splash of vanilla extract to your milk, then froth it until it gets nice and foamy. Pour over top, then sprinkle cinnamon on top for garnish.

Strawberry Infused Chaga Tea

In this recipe, strawberries and chaga pack a one-two punch of immune-supporting benefits. The vitamin C from the strawberries and the beta-glucans from the chaga mushroom work together to boost your immune system. If you are using fresh strawberries, you will still need to freeze & then thaw them before muddling.

 

Ingredients:

4-5 strawberries, frozen then thawed

8 oz hot water

1 Bravo Tea Chaga tea bag

Instructions:

Muddle your strawberries, then add 8 ounces of hot water and 1 bag of Bravo Tea Chaga mushroom tea. Brew for 3-4 minutes, then strain. Optionally, add fresh basil for garnish.

Blueberry Infused Turkey Tail Mushroom Tea

Turkey tail and blueberries both are loaded with antioxidants that help protect your body against the effects of aging. If you are using fresh blueberries for this recipe, you will still need to freeze & then thaw them before muddling.

Ingredients:

⅓ cup blueberries, frozen then thawed

8 oz hot water

1 Bravo Tea Turkey Tail tea bag

Squeeze of fresh lime

Instructions:

Muddle the blueberries, then add 8 ounces of hot water and 1 bag of Bravo Tea Turkey Tail mushroom tea. Brew for 2-4 minutes. Strain into a cup and add a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Garnish with a slice of lime and enjoy!
